Presentations - Travel & Own a Business Don't forget your DC 11 Reflection Resources: SD67 Careers Dept is launching a new GET TO WORK initiative to help students find great summer jobs. This system is meant to make it easier for students to see the jobs that are out there plus give local businesses a better system to be able to post job openings. New job postings for Penticton and Summerland will be added regularly and students can easily view them on their phones. You can give it a try yourself – scan the QR Code on the poster with your phone, most phones have built in QR Code readers or it is a free app. It will take you directly to all the current job postings that we have set up. As an additional note students working this summer may also qualify for school credits through the Work Experience or Apprenticeship programs so they should be in contact with their school’s Careers Centr |
